Amanda Holden

Amanda Louise Holden was born on February 16, 1971. She is an English actress as well as a media personality and a singer. Since 2007 she has served as a judge on the television talent show Britain's Got Talent on ITV. Jamie Theakston and Holden co-host the Heart Breakfast radio program on weekday mornings. Holden was born in Portsmouth in Hampshire. She spent the majority of her growing up in Bishop's Waltham. At nine she was a member of the Bishop's Waltham Little Theatre Company. Holden was also in TV in three series of Kiss Me Kate, starring Caroline Quentin and Chris Langham. She also was a part of three ITV series The Grimleys and Celeb with Harry Enfield episodes. A Boxing Day special Agatha Christie's Marple episode "4.50 From Paddington", starring Geraldine McEwan and John Hannah. In Ready When You Are Mr. McGill by Jack Rosenthal she appeared alongside Bill Nighy, Tom Courtenay and Aleha Dixon. Alongside Alesha Dixon, David Walliams and Simon Cowell, Holden is a judge on Britain's Got Talent. She joined the show in the year 2006.
