Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue Elis Taylor is an American stage and screen actor and producer. She is best known as an actress in films for her work in Ray Undercover Brother (Ray Undercover Brother) and The Mentalist. She has a Bachelor's degree in African-American Studies and an MFA from the Tisch School of Arts New York University. Aunjanue is an actress for theater and film who is producer. Her acting career began in the theatre. She then appeared in various TV shows including independent films as well as mainstream movies. She rose to fame as Miranda Shaw in ABC's Quantico while also appearing in BET's acclaimed series The Book of Negroes. For both of these roles she received critical acclaim and several nominations as well as distinctions including her first award, the Television Critics Choice Award for Best Actress. Her debut on stage as Ariel, in The Tempest. Her stage credits consist of Come and Gone Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis, a Broadway production directed by Joe Turner. Her film work her most well-known roles are the roles she played in Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express or The Help. Her part as a frequent character on the drama series High Incident on ABC High Incident earned her praises.
